LifeCare Hospitals of Dallas is located in the heart of the Dallas Medical community. We have 64 licensed beds and a medical staff of more than 200 physicians. We are accredited by The Joint Commission and are Medicare certified.
Our hospital specializes in the treatment of medically complex patients who require extended hospitalization. We are passionate about giving our patients the best chance at recovery from acute injury or illness by providing early and aggressive intervention in a critical care setting. Our treatment team includes physicians, nurses, pharmacists, nutritionists, and therapists across a range of disciplines - physical, speech, occupational, respiratory, recreational and psychological therapy. We believe this interdisciplinary approach helps speed physical, emotional, and spiritual recovery. We embrace each of our patients as individuals with a personal history and a unique health situation and we provide the compassion, support, and nurturing necessary to achieve optimal recovery.
Because we admit and treat a large number of medically complex patients, we provide a wide range of in-house diagnostic services. These services include full imaging capabilities with a CT Scanner, mobile fluoroscopy and fixed X-Ray; we have excellent in-house Laboratory Services, FEE's testing, and Vital Stimulation testing and therapy. Vital Stim is the only therapy of its kind certified by the Food and Drug Administration in the treatment of swallowing disorders. Additionally, we have a fully equipped Special Procedures room for in-house Trach's, PEG, and GI Scopes.

LifeCare Hospitals of Forth Worth is a 73-bed acute care, medical specialty hospital which opened in southwest Fort Worth in March of 1999. We are accredited by The Joint Commission and Medicare certified, and have a medical staff of more than 160 physicians.

LifeCare Hospitals of Plano is conveniently located at Tennyson Parkway and Preston Road, easily accessed from I-75 or the North Dallas Tollway in Plano. We are licensed for 66 beds and have a medical staff of more than 150 physicians. We are accredited by The Joint Commission and are Medicare certified.

All of our patient rooms are ICU and telemetry capable, and our highly trained staff includes ACLS-certified nurses and clinicians. We provide in-house physical coverage nightly from 7pm - 7am. Our VitalStim therapy program for the treatment of swallowing disorders, as well as special services for the management of lymphedema and renal disease, make us uniquely qualified to care for medically complex patients. LifeCare Hospitals of Plano also provides seven-day-a-week wound care services, provided by our multidisciplinary wound care team. We have an in-house lab and CT machine for immediate diagnostic ability 24/7.
